You're welcome! The state sucks about privacy. They also make our home addresses public on the DBPR website, so anyone with our last name and/or license number can easily find out where we live. It's terrible, especially in a state where so little is done for victims of domestic abuse and stalking.

Oh my do I have alot to learn. First off bravo for such a awesome article.....I’m learning these regulations now because considering just freelancing which yes your right the state has so many regulations and penalties. Aside from that I sometimes work with the mobile apps too whenever I activate them "beglammed","PRIV", and "theglamapp" which I'm very concerned of the safety concerns too which made me reconsider running my business as a freelancer for now cause i cant afford a suite or salon of my own yet. I’m researching now and your article popped up in my email just in time for more research. I have alot to research and learn still and not new to the Industry been licensed for 16 years now but life has taken me into a roller coaster long story short I’m reinventing now the way I’m thinking in doing business legit instead of how I was running it years back illegally. Throughout the years attending trade shows and continuing education courses I've learned so much and gain knowledge in depth within the Nail Industry still learning. In Hope’s I can one day own a suite or salon of my own…..Im doing everything by myself as far as getting my business going legit with state of Florida. The other day I registered my fictitious name but didnt know I had to be in compliance by my fictitious name being published in newspaper and they need a physical address. Which I’m stuck and dont want to use my home address. I spoke with local post office for a facility address but applying for a PO BOX which the state might not accept. So I’m stuck and dont know what to do now and getting discouraged. I have til the end of this month to make a move so I wont get those ugly fines and charges..... This article opened my eyes in just nick of time. Thank you!!!
