In other industries, franchising can be a great way to take advantage of an existing company&#039;s reputation (Subway or McDonald&#039;s for example). In ours, it&#039;s largely considered a waste of money, as nothing about these franchises are proprietary. Anyone who has ever worked within a salon can easily duplicate the models the top franchises utilize. Then again, some franchisees really like the idea of a &quot;salon in a box,&quot; and will therefore open a GreatClips or similar location simply to avoid the hassle of doing the setup work themselves.]]></description>
