Not that I know of, but I doubt the scandal would have affected the quality of education they gave their students, since it was related to their alleged manufacture of high school diplomas to secure federal financial aid for students. That’s wrongdoing on behalf of administration; not the educators. I’ve spoken at length with other Marinello students and graduates when we were working to get them placed in schools that would accept their hours from Marinello, and each had different experiences at different locations with regards to the quality of education (which I guess is to be expected, since every establishment is different in terms of their educators’ commitment to quality education).

This comment wins the internet today. I’ve worked as an instructor, and I’ve seen how this system causes issues and tension in the industry, setting students up to be cheated, exploited, and disadvantaged from Day 1. I’m in the process of writing a chapter in my next book that demonstrates how these problems cause a unique, cutthroat, “dog eat dog” culture in the beauty business. Students are programmed for this before they’ve even graduated. It’s no wonder so many veterans are so jaded and distrustful after being repeatedly exposed to maltreatment and underhanded business tactics. I might just shorten the chapter and release it as a blog post in the future, since it’s definitely a topic that requires discussion.

As part of a #4Profit business plan students are denied Instructors, by deliberately “overworking, overwhelming , and under training instructors”. With this deliberate plan Instructors naturally make their own life and workload easier by giving attention to those students that “they” most EASILY relate too, leaving students divided, disenfranchised, and resenting their fellow students and instructors. And, the layer of division systematically takes place.

Chaos is part of the “Business Plan” to Profit from students’ Financial Aid. Many, #4Profit Beauty Colleges starve students from the education we pay for. Marinello Beauty Schools, strategically will not “EVER” provide, NOR will they EVER provide enough instructors, support, resources, or products. When it comes to “corporate/for-profit schools, there does not seem to be laws or regulations/protections against the deprivation of education. #4Profit Students appear to have NO RIGHTS and Family Medical Leave does not apply to Students .
